What's the difference between a WDCC Scholarship and a
Member Memorial Scholarship?

The WDCC awards multiple $1000 Scholarships annually to young people in our community who will be attending Muskegon Community College or Muskegon Baker College full time. These scholarships are open to female and male high school seniors, or students currently attending one of these colleges. Applications are available on this site beginning mid-October with a deadline in mid-March.

The prestigious Member Memorial Scholarship fund (MMS) is awarded to top candidates who demonstrate a desire to improve our community by giving back through community service. The MMS is designed to honor our deceased members, and is awarded in $1000 increments. The scholarship is given in the names of those deceased members who are being honored through donations. Recipients are deserving female or male students attending Muskegon Community College or Muskegon Baker College.
