What's the difference between a WDCC Scholarship and a
Member Memorial Scholarship?
The WDCC $1000 Scholarship is awarded annually to young people in our community who will be attending Muskegon Community College or Muskegon Baker College full-time. These scholarships are open to high school seniors or students currently attending one of these colleges. Applications are available on this site beginning mid-September through mid-March.
The prestigious Member Memorial Scholarship (MMS) is awarded to top candidates who demonstrate a desire to improve our community by giving back through community service. The MMS honors our deceased members and is awarded in $1000 increments. The MMS is given in the names of deceased members who are being honored through donations. Recipients are deserving female or male students attending Muskegon Community College or Muskegon Baker College.
2026-2027 Application links will open September 2025
