WDCC fundraisers include our large public events as well as our member-focused projects. All raise money for our community giving, and they wouldn’t happen without the hundreds of volunteer hours from our members.
WDCC Major Fundraising Events
This annually sold-out fundraiser has now raised over $2,000,000 which benefits food pantries and food programs that feed the hungry in Muskegon, upper Ottawa, and lower Oceana counties.
Our most important fundraiser for the financial support of the WDCC General Fund. Over the past 19 years, we have distributed over $563,269 to those in need in West Michigan.
This fundraiser is unique in that 100% of net proceeds benefit “select” non-profit organizations.
Parties in the Park is a hugely-popular free outdoor event in Hackley Park throughout the summer. We are blessed to be one of the hosts.
WDCC Annual Fundraising Projects
The past three years were so FUN and SUCCESSFUL that it is now an annual member fundraiser.
University of Michigan vs. Michigan State Tailgate
Our first fundraiser of this kind. Look for delicious tailgate food, game action on big screens, half-time entertainment, a silent auction, raffles, and a cash bar. Go Blue, Go Green!
Women’s Division Chamber of Commerce (WDCC) is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization founded in 1951 to promote our community and create civic awareness. Today, this group of over 200 women continues that legacy by working together to make a difference. WDCC holds several annual events and granted more than $291,904.70 to local non-profit organizations and area projects this past year.
